The Next Hundred Years, the Sequel

Monica Millhime’s corporate connections began as a Graphic Designer at the Sun Journal.  As the Advertising Manager/Department Head she was integral part of the SJ Diversification Team, serving as the New Media Director for Explore Maine;  Vice President of Sales/Marketing for Northeast Data Solutions; and Franchise Dealer for Val-Pak of Maine.  Millhime was Maine’s first woman President for the New England Newspaper Advertising Executive Association prior to her departure from the SJ to complete a degree in Education.   She was a Substitute Teacher in Lisbon and transitioned to the district-wide Community Resource Coordinator position facilitating marketing, grant writing, and advisor capacities for students with yearbooks and co-curricular programs.  She currently covers five counties for  Western Maine Community Action, at the Lewiston CareerCenter, as an Employment and Training Business Specialist, developing and coordinating employer driven projects with WorkReady and on-the-job training programs.   Millhime has been a Rotarian for over 20 years and is a Paul Harris Fellow.  She resides in Durham with her husband, Jim.  President Millhime will be sharing a reflection of her year as the 101st President of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Lunch Club The Next 100 Years, the Sequel… during her presentation.
